Pilgrimage, a journey undertaken for a religious motive. Although some pilgrims have wandered continuously with no fixed destination, pilgrims more commonly seek a specific place that has been sanctified by association with a divinity or other holy personage.

In 1997 Jerzy Gray-Grzeszkiewicz joined his Father and Father Wally Stefanski of Jindabyne (NSW, Australia) on a Holy Pilgrimage which took Gray-Grzeszkiewicz through such countries such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Poland, Iraq, Afghanistan, Cameroon, France, Israel and the Vatican. There were over two dozen participants attending the three month pilgrimage which came at the expense of $25,000AUD for two persons in 1997 which included flights, food and accommodation.  The original promise made by Father Wally Stefanski whose sister and niece also attended was that the price included five star accommodation in the majority of countries where available, especially in Europe. However, majority of the accommodation that Gray-Grzeszkiewicz stayed at was at convents with the nuns, and properties owned by the Catholic Church such as schools and accommodation built for the nuns and brothers at their use. This caused later controversary as Father Wally Stefanski had been dishonest regarding the pilgrimage package, and simply put all the pilgrims in accommodation owned by the Catholic Church, free of charge.

The decision to go on the Holy Pilgrimage was advised by Medical professionals to assist Gray-Grzeszkiewicz with his Cancer treatment recovery.

Please enjoy photographs showing the Pilgrimage of 1997 with Father Wally Stefanski who's sister and niece (Olivia) also attended of Queanbeyan, and the relationship with Father Wally Stefanski, St.Christopher's Cathedral and the The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn.

The picture now holds some revelation to the relationship between Gray-Grzeszkiewicz's mother and later partner after the year 2000 as in the top left entering the Canberra Airport appears to be a man of similar appearance indicating that Jerzy Gray-Grzeszkiewicz may have been stalked as of 1997.

The search to find his Grandfather Stanislaw Grzeszkiewicz was not a success due to time, scale of the cemetery and the records all in writing. Stanislaw Grzeszkiewicz body was buried originally in a cemetery close to were he had died fighting against the German invasion, later his body was moved to the Polish Military cemetery located in central Warsaw.
